At the age of ten, she began performing as a backup vocalist for Tosin Jegede, a child star. Her songs and music videos have helped her become more and more well-known both domestically and internationally since she began her professional music career in 2009 with FreeNation INC.

Ehi holds a B.Sc. in Chemical and Polymer Engineering from Lagos State University. She took an active part in the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship while she was a student. Soon after, she became a member of the Christ Embassy Choir. Later, she joined the FreeNation INC record company, where she has continued her career as a gospel performer and released her music.
