You’ve probably been asked your personality type a lot: extrovert or introvert. Making a decision can be simple for some, but it’s challenging for the majority of us. Making a decision is challenging because the introvert/extrovert divide represents an antiquated and stale understanding of personality. Because personality traits are a continuum, most people are neither introverted nor extroverts; instead, we fall somewhere in the middle. A consistent collection of inclinations and preferences that shape our way of seeing the world is what makes up personality. Early life experiences shape personality traits, which are set by early adulthood. Throughout your life, a lot of significant aspects of you change but your personality isn’t one of them.
