He said “Propose with a cheap ring. Have a small wedding on a weekday; strictly by invitation. Don’t serve alcohol at the reception, it’s expensive. Cut down on multiple outfits; save money, one is enough. Ignore honeymoon. Get married, work hard, and after a couple of years, you can redo these things the way you really want. Delayed gratification should be evident in the way we approach wedding ceremonies”.
