Your name Jesus lyrics. Onoriode Ebiere Ariyo, better known by his stage name Onos Ariyo, is a singer and composer from Nigeria. In November 2024, she became the first Nigerian gospel singer signed to Sony Music West Africa, making history. Wilson Joel, a Nigerian music producer, wrote and produced the critically praised song “Alagbara” that made her most famous. She was included in the Global Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) list in September 2018.

Born in Delta State, Southern Nigeria, Onos attended elementary and secondary school there before being accepted to the Delta State University in Abraka, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in French. Summary
Since making her debut in the music business, Onos has received numerous award nominations. She took up the Best Female Vocalist trophy from both the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards in 2012 and the Crystal Awards in 2013. She won both the Female Gospel Artist of the Year Eloy Awards and the Wise Women Awards in the Woman in Music category in 2015. At the 2018 African Gospel Music Awards (AGMMA) in the UK, she took home the Female Artist of Excellence Award.
