Born in Ilorin, Nigeria, Dunsin Oyekan’s father, Gbadebo Oyekan, the General Overseer of the Evangelical Baptist Church and a former leader of the worship ensemble “Spiritual Singers,” helped him develop his first musical roots at the age of ten. Dunsin attended the University of Ilorin to study Industrial Chemistry, but in 2014, a supernatural calling led him to pursue full-time worship ministry. He has been a music director, a choir member, and the author of groundbreaking songs for more than 20 years. His seven CDs are “Code Red,” “Kingdom Now,”

From February 2, 2013, until the Lord called her to glory on May 18, 2019, he was wed to his cherished wife, Adedoyin Oyekan. They are fortunate to have two beautiful kids.
