He was raised in Makurdi-Benue state and is one of eight children born to Samuel and Nkechi Onwubiko [5] in Abia State, Nigeria. He first heard the music of well-known rappers like Tupac, Eminem, and 50 Cent when he was eight years old. Later, he discovered Christian rappers like Lecrae, the Ambassador, Andy Mineo, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., and Tedashii. He became an Afro gospel, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop gospel singer, songwriter, recording artist, and performer as a result of this. His professional gospel music career started when he joined the Day Star Church while studying biochemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria.
