Lyrics for new dimension. Onoriode Ebiere Ariyo, better known by his stage name Onos Ariyo, is a singer and composer from Nigeria. In November 2024, she became the first Nigerian gospel singer signed to Sony Music West Africa, making history. Wilson Joel, a Nigerian music producer, wrote and produced the critically praised song “Alagbara” that made her most famous. She was included in the Global Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) list in September 2018.

Born in Delta State, Southern Nigeria, Onos attended elementary and secondary school there before being accepted to the Delta State University in Abraka, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in French. Before moving to Lagos in 2004, Onos started recording her first professional single, “Dance,” which was produced by FLO. She had started singing while in elementary school and had participated in several choirs and ensembles.
