Lyrics for what a mighty God. Eben, the fifth of six children, was born and reared in Lagos, Nigeria. He went to Orile Primary School and Community Grammar School in Orile, Lagos, and comes from a Christian household.
Eben began his singing career in 1997 under the guidance of his older brother, who was a rapper. Later, he realized he had a gift for singing and became a gospel singer. Eben rose to fame as a gospel singer in 2005 after making his first significant public appearance at a youth conference hosted by Pastor Chris, where “Imarama” was first heard.
