Ifeoluwa Ehindero was declared winner as the APC candidate for the by-election in the Akoko Northwest/Akoko Northeast Federal Constituency.
The seat has been vacant since Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo left the position to serve as the Minister of Interior under the government of President Bola Tinubu.
He won the election with one hundred and five votes (102).
