Lyrics for na you dey reign. On September 5, 1990, Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born in Rivers State, Nigeria. At age six, she began participating in the church’s children’s chorus. After completing her secondary school at Paradise International School, Chinwo obtained a credential from Goodwill International School. She graduated with a degree in human resource management from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI). After winning the second season of Nigerian Idol, Chinwo became well-known and made the decision to pursue a career in gospel music. She acquired a record deal with EeZee Conceptz in 2017 and put out a number of hit albums and songs.

She signed a recording deal with EeZee Conceptz, a musical company started by Eezee Tee, two years later. In 2018, Chinwo’s single “Excess Love” was made available. She has collaborated with artists including JJ Hairson, Nathaniel Bassey, Chioma Jesus, Banky W, Joe Praize, Samsong, and others since becoming well-known as a gospel performer.

Summary
She and her spouse founded the MercyisBlessed Foundation in 2023, an NGO dedicated to supporting youth development and impoverished communities. On August 13, 2022, Chinwo wed Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa in Port Harcourt. Their first child was born in 2023, and they currently live in Lagos, Nigeria.
